Directions

Stir or beat. Pour in 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. cake flour
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. shortening
  • 1/3 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. buttermilk
  • Nuts
  • if desired
