Banana Oat Cookies (sugar Free) RecipeTagged in Vegetarian
Preheat oven to about 350 degrees F.Mash the bananas and mix allingredients in a large bowl.. easy!Form mix into small balls andflatten.. place on a non-stick cookiesheet a couple centimeters apart. Withthe amounts in this recipe you'llprobably have about half a dozen largecookies.Place in the oven. They cook ratherfast (especially with quick oats) sodon't leave in too long.. About 15-20minutes is usually good, but check tomake sure they don't burn. You can also add carob chips and/or raisinsfor some extra sweetness; but seriously, these cookies are delicious as is(chewy too).. I made them trying tohelp me overcome my vegan sugar addictionand they definitely satisfy me! Areespecially good with some soy milk ortea.Enjoy!
- 2 1/2 cups of oats (preferably the quick kind) 2 tablespoons of flour (I use spelt) 2 bananas (over-ripe are the best
- but others are fine) 1 teaspoon of corn starch 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (I use the cheap imitation
- lol) Few generous dashes of cinnamon Splash of soy or rice milk..(vanilla/chocolate flavored if you want a bit of sweetness)
