Brunch Eggs Casserole Recipe

Directions
Brown the sausage in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Whisk the milk and eggs in a bowl until blended. Whisk in the dry mustard, salt, curry powder, dillweed and pepper. Add the sausage, cheese, mushrooms and onion and mix well. Fold in the bread cubes.
Pour the sausage mixture into a baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. You may prepare 1 day in advance and store, covered, in the refrigerator. Bake just before serving.

- 1 pound breakfast sausage (regular or reduced-fat)
- 2 cups milk
- 6 eggs
- 1-1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mild curry powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon dillweed
- Pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup fresh or canned sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)
- 6 slices fresh bread
- cubed
