Directions
Mix together sugar, spices, Crisco, salt, and water. Boil for 5 minutes and let cool. Then stir in 4 cups flour and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.

- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 2/3 c. Crisco
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Red and green pineapple
- Cherries (1/2 lb. red & green)
- Dates
- Nuts
- 6 slices pineapple
- Raisins
