Crumble tofu in frying pan and and fry until lightly
browned, about fifteen minutes. Add water and taco
seasoning and continue to cook another 5-7 minutes.
Meanwhile heat beans in medium saucepan for about ten
minutes until warm. When water has been absorbed remove
from heat. Shred tofu cheese. Heat tortillas in oven or
microwave until warm. Lay tortillas flat and add beans,
tofu mix, salsa and cheese and reheat to melt tofu cheese if
- 12 oz. package of Silken Extra-Firm tofu
- 6 tortillas
- vegetarian refried beans (canned of you can make your own)
- 6 oz. jar of salsa
- soy-cheese (if desired)
- 1/4 cup regular taco seasoning or Tofu Mate Taco seasoning
