Pudding Cake Recipe

Sift 3/4 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Stir milk, melted butter and vanilla, mix well. Spread batter in greased 9 inch square pan. Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa. Sprinkle over batter. Pour water over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or when cake top springs back to touch. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

- --2ND LAYER:--
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 1/2 c. water
