Directions
Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Drop cookies (heap full for small cookies or 1 tablespoon for larger cookies). I get 6 dozen. Suppose to get 8 dozen smaller ones.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 4 eggs
- 1 (No 2) can of pumpkin (could not get #2 so
- 4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 or 2 c. nuts (optional)
