Directions
Cream sugar and shortening, add 2 eggs. Alternate flour mixture with buttermilk. Add water last. Bake at 350 degrees.

- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
