Brown ground beef and onion. Drain off fat. Stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce and beans. Add salt, pepper, chili powder and sugar. Bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.

- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans peeled tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
