Ingredients

1/4 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Sugar
2 each Eggs
1 cup Milk, sweet
3/4 cup Corn meal
1 3/4 cup Flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt


Directions
  1. Cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Add eggs beaten, milk.
  3. Sift corn meal, flour together with baking powder and salt.
  4. Bake about 20 minutes.
  5. Note: temperature not give, assume a moderate 350 - 400°F. oven.
