Directions

Line a 9-inch quiche dish or a deep dish pie plate with pastry. Trim excess around edges. Prick bottom and sides of pastry with fork; bake at 425� F. for 5 minutes. Let cool. Sprinkle ham and cheese evenly over pastry. Combine eggs and remaining ingredients; pour over ham and cheese. Bake at 350� F. for one hour or until set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

  • Pastry for 9-inch deep dish pie
  • 1 cup chopped cooked country ham
  • 2/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • beaten
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
