Directions
Mix all ingredients together. Roll into small balls. Flatten with fork dipped in flour. Bake until brown at 350 degrees. 4 dozen.

- 1 cup shortening or butter
- 1 egg -- beaten
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup crushed potato chops
- 3/4 cup nuts
