Spareribs With Black Beans Recipe

Place the spareribs pieces in a colander and pour 2 qts. boiling water
over them, (do this over the sink). Drain well and stir-fry until lightly
browned. Drain fat and place them in a boil. Add all other ingredients
except the onions and green pepper. Mix well and then add the onions and
green pepper. Place in a steaming dish and steam for 1 hour and fifteen
minutes. They will be very tender and delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 Lb Pork Spareribs -- 1" lengths
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- Light
- 2 Tbsp Dry Sherry
- 3 Cloves Garlic -- chopped fine
- 1 Tbsp Fermented Black Beans -- rinsed and mashed
- Pinch Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Monosodium Glutamate
- 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Garlic And Red Chili Paste -- or to taste
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 Green Onions -- chopped
- 1/2 Green Bell Pepper -- julienned
