The Best Broccoli.ever. Recipe
Firstly, I can in no way shape or form claim this recipe as my own...thank you miss Ina Garten. All you have to do is cut the broccoli into florets, the original recipe called for 4 to 5 lbs. but I found a bag of pre-cut florets that was a little less, I'm a college student and am basically only cooking for myself..
Preheat to 425, spread out broccoli on aluminum foil-covered pan. Drizzle about 3 tablespoons olive oil, sprinkle on some salt&pepper. throw in 4 or 5 chopped garlic cloves as well. zest half a lemon in advance, so you arent rushing to do it later :)
It's seriously that easy. Just toss this in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the broccoli looks slightly brown at the edges. Immediately after taking it out of the oven, pour on as much parmesan as you like..(HINT: THE MORE THE BETTER.), and finish it off with that 1/2 lemon, squeeze its juice over the broccoli and of course the zest.
- 3-4 Garlic Cloves
- Fresh Lemon
- Parmesan cheese
